Inspiration
Cameras.
Cameras everywhere.
Walking on the street, if you dare to look up then there’s always another eye looking at you.
Although it could be a good thing to run an organized society, still sometimes I feel like these cameras are like the eye of Mordor and sometimes as if walking in 1984.
Explanation
I created this work by drawing and collaging. The scary big eye represents the eyes behind those monitoring cameras. The background of black brings out a bleak and intense atmosphere. And the red lady is standing upside down while her whole body is at a crawling position trying to protect herself in vain.
Maybe the monitor society is coming, but we need to keep in mind that the public power cannot be abused to prevent 1984 from actually happening.
